Japan has always been a dream destination for us. We visited and recorded the sounds of Osaka. We started our sonic quest in the Minoo Park, filled with natural sounds and temples, then dived straight into the city center vibes where we recorded the sounds of exquisite crafts, mouthwatering food, and the many traditional instruments of Japan. We had the chance to learn the basics of Shamisen with Kaoru Kiyama and to jam with a Japanese band called TR Innovation.
